More tips from Biogen Support Services

Support in Spanish

“One tip for our Spanish-speaking patients is that bilingual Biogen Support Coordinators like myself
are here to provide you one-on-one phone support
throughout the whole process. Bilingual, Spanish-speaking Nurse Educators are available to help you
as well.”

-Luzbin, Biogen Support Coordinator

VUMERITY refills

“Whenever you’re down to four days of medication or less, give us a call so we can make sure you don’t run out of your medication. If you happen to run out of VUMERITY, you can give us a call and we can see if you’re eligible for us to provide you some medication to hold you over until your prescription arrives.”

-Luzbin, Biogen Support Coordinator

Taking VUMERITY with food

“My best recommendation is to check the food labels of what you normally eat to double-check if they fall underneath 700 calories and 30 grams of fat. You can always visit VUMERITY.com for examples to test against what you eat throughout the day.”

-Amanda, Nurse Educator

VUMERITY and alcohol

You don’t need to stop drinking alcohol in order to start or continue taking your VUMERITY. Instead, be sure not to drink alcohol at the same time as your dose. This is because it can reduce the amount of active ingredient your body absorbs when taking VUMERITY.”

-Amanda, Nurse Educator
